Thanksgiving is just around the corner and many of us are going to be hosting the day in our own homes. Family, friends and loved ones will be coming together to share what they're grateful for and of course, to enjoy a hearty Thanksgiving dinner! Whether that excites you or makes you a bit stressed (or even a little of both), there's no need to worry. We've done the tough work for you by collecting a list of our decorating favorites. Keep reading for our list that will make planning incredibly easy, so you can focus on the the really important things.

Table Runner

Table runners are very much in style right now and work well for any event. They are much nicer than an overall table cloth and look great on any table. Look for one that's machine washable, so guests don't have to worry if they accidentally spill on it, and you can use it more than one. We're completely obsessed with this terracotta cheese cloth and the modern rosy color combinations. What a fun and unique way to modernize Thanksgiving decor and give it a little 'wow factor'.

Candles are always a good idea for any event, and Thanksgiving dinner is no exception. Old school candle sticks add some ambiance when lit up, and look amazing in low light. Avoid candles that are scented- you want guests to be enchanted by the smell of your food cooking, and nothing else. We love these colored candlesticks that come in a variety of shades so you can pick which color matches best.

Decorative Place Settings

Dress up your plates with place settings that guests will want to take home. Thanksgiving themed settings add an extra "wow!" factor to any table decor. Place them over a napkin or over any plate to turn a regular place setting into an extraordinary one. These handmade creations will go a long way in decorating the perfect Thanksgiving dinner table.

Napkin Rings

Further spice up that table with a modern copper napkin ring. The sleek design will fit with your table decor all year long but will make the perfect tie in for your Thanksgiving festivities.

Table Centerpiece

No Thanksgiving table is complete without a centerpiece to pull it all together. Don't overthink this table item. Something simple but festive will work and makes the table look polished. We recommend balancing the fall tones of the table with a neutral and chic pampas grass bouquet. While we love the statement of a centerpiece, we also want to consider guests looking at each other from across the table. A lower grouping will be your best bet to encourage conversation and giving thanks.

Seating Place Cards

A creative way to set your thanksgiving table is with individual name place cards. They instantly dress up the setting, and look effortlessly classy. Who doesn't love seeing their name in a fancy font? These coriander and terracotta options fit the fall theme just right. The best part about these name place cards? They are incredibly easy to make! You can read our blog post about it here to see what we mean. These custom place cards are editable to make sure that they perfectly match your decor.

Bonus Decoration Idea:

Looking to add more decor to your event? A Thanksgiving wreath is the perfect touch for even more fall flair. We recommend one with a touch of fall colors that will add more autumn inspiration. Not sure about you but this wreath below is so beautiful we could cry. Seriously. One in every color please!
