Meggan and Mauricio's San Onofre State Beach Styled Shoot Elopement
Earlier this year, we were asked to be a part of a styled elopement shoot and we jumped at the opportunity! Talented photographer Jax Lens photographed the newlyweds on San Onofre state beach, a popular beach located in Southern California on a foggy November day, and captured hundreds of incredible photos. Complete with their own leather vow books, the couple expressed their love, standing at a boho alter on a white rug between pampas grass and floral arches. The bride wore a stunning lace gown with a delicate veil, and the groom opted for an all black suit and tie ensemble, and both looked amazing. The entire day was filled with love, laughter and even champagne. These photos will leave you speechless- trust us, you won't be disappointed.
Even though the day was a bit foggy, it ultimately made for a wonderful moody and romantic setting. The weather might have deterred other people from visiting the beach that day, which worked out great for the lovebirds as the had it almost all to themselves. It made for such a special day that produced unforgettable moments they will cherish for the rest of their lives.
These photos of the couple underneath the bride's veil are absolute perfection. They are sweet and intimate, encapsulating the two of them all in a world of their own. You can see just how in love they are with one another as they embrace in the moment.
After the ceremony, they let loose and set off to play around in the ocean and pop their celebration champagne. The couple had married a few days prior, so this second wedding was an opportunity to have a private ceremony with a more relaxed environment. We love the couple's playful energy and can only imagine how fun this was to shoot. Meggan and Mauricio looked totally at ease, splashing around in the waves and completely letting themselves be in the moment with huge smiles on their faces. One of our favorite photos from this shoot is where the groom has the bride over his shoulder and they twirl around in the ocean laughing.
Look at those flowers! This is easily the most beautiful floral bouquet we've ever seen. Blush and taupe pampas grass mixed in with white bunny tail and floral accents are so stunning when put together. Mauve colored roses were the perfect touch for this incredibly unique and stunning floral arrangement bouquet. The only thing more beautiful are Meggan and Mauricio themselves.
If we had pictured our dream styled elopement shoot it would not have even come close to how beautiful Meggan and Mauricio's turned out! Congratulations to the happy, gorgeous couple. We are so lucky to have been a part of your incredibly special day!

NINA Elopement Announcement
We created this elopement invitation announcement for Meggan and Mauricio to use as part of their styled shoot. The NINA collection template suite features a modern minimalist design with earthy sage green and gray tones. The unique shape and colors were just the thing for their special day and are completely one of a kind. The color tones matched the tone of the cloudy afternoon just right. The stand alone invitation measures 5x7" and can be printed at home to make DIY at home easy.
NINA Custom Wedding Suite
Since the couple had already had a wedding ceremony, they wanted their elopement announcement to be more unique than a typical wedding suite invitation that still gave family and friends all of the event details. The couple opted to use one of the pieces to share their love story and what their love meant. The NINA collection wedding suite features three separate pieces of stationery that are of the same design and color scheme as the elopement invitation with the following measurements- a 5x7" invitation, a 5x3.5" RSVP card, and 5.5x4.25" details card. This collection has a unique shape, making it a one of a kind invitation.
